1) Write one paragraph about the author of the book. 

 

The author, at the time of writing in her diary, was only 14 years old and it's almost unreal how she managed to capture all the tragedy of the situation. The way she describes ordinary things is enjoyable and easy to read but at the same time it conveys a lot of information. This book was written with events happening as the author wrote them, this means that every bit of frustration, happiness and all kinds of emotions are written as she's feeling them which gives the book a lot more dept and overall makes it a lot more interesting.

 

2) Explain the title. 

 

The title implies that it’s a diary written by Ann Frank. She didn’t really care for giving it a title with double meaning, she just wanted people to read and experience the pain she's been through herself.

 

3) What would you like to change in the characters of the book? Why? What if

your described character were in the book? 

 

If I could change anything in Ann Frank it would be to at least make her appreciate her family more. In times where she wasn’t allowed to move outside their hiding place where she didn’t have much entertainment she was slowly falling into depression. She started giving attitude to her family which just made the problems more severe. I think that this trait wouldn’t really change much but nothing much could be changed to maker her misery more bearable.

 

4) Write three questions you would like to ask one of the main characters. 

 

Firstly i would like to ask Ann Frank if the day she started to move out of her house to the bunker how did it affect her life. Secondly is there anything you didn’t write in the book because you thought it wouldn’t be necessary. Finally I would like to ask the father how he got over the fact that he was the only survivor.

 

5) Summarize the book in 2-3 sentences. What is it about? What happens? 

 

Ann Frank was enjoying her everyday life as a teenager when the sanctions

against Jews started taking place. They increasingly became more and more harsh and she was forced to hide with her family in order not to be sent to a

concentration camp. Eventually she was caught and passed away.

 

6) Respond to the book in some way, in 4-5 sentences. (For example, how did you like it)?

 

The book was very intriguing it captured me from the beginning and ended on a high note. The only drawback was that it got boring in the middle but I didn’t expect a diary of a fourteen year old girl to be intriguing from the beginning to the end. I thought that knowing how the book will end will make it less interesting but I was proven wrong. The book captures the thought of ordinary girl and puts them into the horrors of holocaust, this creates a very gloomy atmosphere which catches you in a very uncomfortable way.

 

7)Why? What did it make you think about? What experiences or memories did it

remind you of? What comments do you have? Which characters did you like most? Why? )

 

It didn’t really remind me of anything close to what iv'e experienced and the only thought in my mind was that she will pass away. She was writing so enthusiastically in her diary talking about her friends family and other minor events that made her happy, that the thought that she will pass away didn't really sink in until after they moved to their hideout. All of this thought are getting stronger as the end approaches and then it abruptly ends leaving nothing behind but a confused emotional mixture of rage, sadness and empathy.

My expectations for the new year

This year was pretty hard for me. It started with foreshadowing to my second half of the year. I want to apply to university, so when the year began I knew that had to work till I was standing just from the thought that I had to attend my tutoring. First half was the calm before the storm. I did mental preparations to what was in store for me. So taking into account what I passed through for the new year I want to relax. I'm gonna finally be able to sleep at 10 wake up at 11 and do nothing for the whole day without feeling the guilt creep on me and ruin my whole day. Im gonna take guitar lessons and finally I can catch up on all of the missed assignments. I will try my best to participate and why not make my own projects. After months of being in a loop where time was a scarce resource, I finally value my time above everything else. Being free for months, I can learn so many new things, and I've never been so excited to be this free, even though I've been this way for years. Now that I understand that time is a scarce resource I will spend it wisely and with this new knowledge I think the next year will be the best I've ever had.

Smoking

Smoking is a very controversial topic, people who don't smoke constantly berate people who, and quite frankly I can't think of a reason not too. Smokers will say that it mostly calms them, but that's not the case, well I don't believe it is. Smoking is more about getting to control an aspect of your life, let me elaborate. Smokers are deliberately giving themselves addiction to have the control of easing the urge any moment they want. What it boils down to is chasing after the feeling you get when a pain alleviates. It's a moment of relaxation and satisfaction, because it tricks your brain into thinking you delivered your body an essential ingredient for survival, hence it rewards you. It's a good way of tricking your brain into focusing on what you want it to focus on, if you promise it in this case nicotine after a certain task is completed, it will put more resources into completing that task. What I'm doing is not trying to say that smoking is okay, quite the opposite it's a dangerous habit that can lead to cancer and ultimately death. What I'm doing is clearing up the main reason why people smoke, because understanding and accepting the course and the first step to solving the issue.

Where is my happiness derived from

In the few years the I've existed in I can surely say only one thing about myself, I become happier the more i exist. I've come to the conclusion that this is because I get smarter every day. Often when I'm not doing anything valuable I catch myself on thought that I'm wasting my time, that I'm just procrastinating everything, and the thoughts are accompanied by a deep painful feeling of emptiness. I don't think I possess enough vocabulary to define the feeling correctly but to try, it's like a needle that slowly injecting something into your heart. I can't imagine myself in a long period of time learning nothing, quite frankly it would make me go crazy. I think I'm here I'm this world to learn, and to learn I will. I will know everything that interests me because I can't find another reason why I exist, and if it doesn't bring me happiness nothing will.

Curriculum

Introduction

In this report we will criticize the curriculum of Armenian governmental schools. The tables on the bottom shows the curriculum of humanitarian, Natural Science and Math flows in high schools, Art Craft Flow and Private Schools. First of all, we would like to start by mentioning that the biggest problem of Armenian high schools is that they even exist. The reason why it exists is because of Europe, they require high school education for us to enter their universities. The existence of our high school wouldn’t be as much of an issue if it wasn’t for how poorly it is organized. The reality is that our high schools don’t teach us anything valuable they are just made for show. We agree that 10th grade is necessary to finish up everything that we learned up upon that point but beyond that nothing we do in 11th and 12th grades gives us anything remotely close to what can be called education. Every high schooler with plans to apply to university goes to additional classes rendering the whole school useless. The curriculum is not perfect as will be discussed later on, but in theory it is not as bad as the reality shows us. In theory it gives us enough time to learn all of the subjects but because of neglect on the side of teachers and non-caring attitude of students the whole system fails to function the way it was designed to function. The frustration that this creates for the students is unimaginable and it causes them to lose hope in education and this frustration translates to anxiety, depression or anger which is why most teenagers are aggressive. The ignorant behaviours that is associated with Armenian teachers is mostly caused by their salaries. They earn just enough to survive and by no means have any energy left to educate teenagers. The main role of the school in our opinion should be more of a guidance through life rather that forcing knowledge into students and abandoning them into the real world where students have no idea what to do, where to go and how to survive in general. The main idea of the school in early years should be to give general information about how our world functions and the history of it. But that’s not enough, it shouldn’t just force the information it should explain why the given information will be helpful in the future. For example, in my middle school years I’ve always heard from my peers that math is useless and will never be useful in any way that they can imagine. This is the fault of the education system that doesn’t explain the information it provides. The school is not just a place to study, it is where we form our social connection it is the place the place that we call our second home and this is not just a clever wordplay by teachers it is our second home by the definition of the word itself. Now let’s discuss rest and sleep. In our opinion as a student’s we get too little sleep especially in12th grade. The time that we waste in school doing nothing can be spent on doing homework for tutoring which is necessary in the system that the government built. The same problem of rest is present in the time that is dedicated to breaks in between classes. The time dedicated is simply not enough not properly rest and it would be inadequate to speak of eating. It’s not enough in every angle you view it, we need a minimum of 15 minutes to eat and rest before the next class.

Looking at the table you can spot a trend, as the grade gets higher the number of subjects per week increases. This causes time management problem for students because in the 12th grade they are starting to prepare for university exams as well as governmental exams. The increase of subjects can be explained by giving us more class time to better prepare for exams. But what this does in reality is give us even less time to actually prepare because as we discussed almost all of the students chose additional tutoring over staying in class which causes students to experience great deal of stress as to manage both school and additional tutoring which eventually makes them start skipping school. We recommend increasing quality of classes in school so that students don’t need to attend additional tutoring or decrease the quantity of subjects per week so that students can focus on attending their additional tutoring. We also think that some subjects are not needed so in further we suggest outright removing those subjects. The subjects we think of are Social Sciences, Native Christian History and Military Preparation. The amount of work that students have to do is already high enough and giving them knowledge about the listed subjects is a waste of time. Teachers in these types of schools are frightening and not at all motivating or anything like teachers. Teachers talk about respect that a student should respect the teacher. Teachers want to earn respect by scaring students, that is really not respect it is something forced into a student’s head with something that will scare them. Teachers should give them a knowledge of the certain subject not to force it into the students head, because of these the student in becoming like a robot rather than a thinking and normal functioning human being.

 

Subjects

The main concern that people who plan subjects should be how much information they can pass in the shortest time possible. Of course this includes efficiency, brute forcing information won't work for the majority of children, because in majority of cases children or teenagers won't be able to cram in such amount of information in such a short amount of time. Looking at the subject plans I can confidently say that they weren't made by the same person, some subjects teach too slowly which is very inefficient and deprives the whole education of excitement. Some subjects are being brute force which also scales down efficiency quite significantly. Math, it's on of the most important subjects which should teach people quick and efficient decision making not just multiply and divide numbers fast. A lot of students think that the further mentioned is the case which deprives them of motivation to invest time into it. There isn't a whole lot of information in the basics of math to be passed, but the way that it's being thought is on of the worst cases ever, there isn't a lot to learn but because of the way it's thought students think that it's endless time consuming and pointless. This is mainly because of one simple fact that they don't teach the basics of the basics, let me elaborate. Most of the themes in math are connected to one idea understand which will lead to ultimately understanding the whole themes connected with that main idea. What the teachers are doing is cramming the themes without giving the main idea which narrows down all the paths to only one brute forcing the subjects without proper understanding. This leads to students which are good at brute forcing to the top of their class and lefts out children with the gift of logic because it's not required in the math that we are being forced to learn in school. This colossal unmotivates children to the point where in each class there's only student who understands what he is learning and that is mostly due to the fact that he took private tutoring. What needs to be done is address the main idea in the beginning and increase the amount of classes dedicated to it to the point where students understand it after that every other theme concerning that idea should be a breeze for the students. 

Another major subject that needs to be changed is history. There are so many complex problems in it that it's each of them will require its own dedicated essay to fully explain the issues that it has. As I'm not fully educated in this subjects I can't give fully detailed explanation concerning this topic but I will explain and give explanation to the problem that I've encountered as a past and current student. The main one that I've encountered is the amount of history and the way it's being taught. History is a limited subject it's being written as we're learning it, because of this to teach it from 5-th class they stretch the events, walk around the main idea and repeat them in each book. Because of the stretched nature of the book separating the main idea and opinions that the writer put there is very hard and takes colossal more time than it should. Opinions and lies inside the books are also a very big problem, propaganda in the books I most common and a lot of professionals agree that religious tampered with the history books to push their own agenda. This is not only outrageous but should be outright illegal tampering with history deprives us from learning our mistakes and gives in this case religion full control over people to brainwash them from the very start of their learning period.

Looking at the table we can easily spot that this type of high school education is relatively much more complex and stressful for students than humanitarian. This is useless because the subjects do not provide enough knowledge to students to successfully pass the exams and in the end students attend to additional tutoring. The same problem with humanitarian but only bigger and more complex. Students get more stressed because not being able to manage their time correctly which again causes depression, anxiety and anger but in a more complex way. What we suggest to this problem is almost the same solution to this problem. We suggest to increase the quality of classes so in this way students don’t attend to additional tutoring or decrease the quantity of the classes so the students can attend to additional classes in ease. And also we suggest outright removing Military Preparation, Computer Science and Social Knowledge so this way the effort of school is less and easier to comprehend. We also think that the subjects that are connected to Natural Science should be by choice. Students should choose between Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Geography. Students may choose two of the listed subject to learn and furthermore get examined by their chosen subjects. These students tend to become geniuses and if the teachers don’t motivate them when teaching it will cause problems. To be honest teachers are often destroying hopes of students rather than motivating them to become best. These is a major problem which comes in a lot of this types of schools. Wet think that the most effective way to solve this problem is to outright replace these teachers.

Bullying

Bullying also can be rooted down to curriculum. This is a very complex social issue that predates to our ancestors, there was bullying is bullying will be bullying, but curriculum created schools where in order to learn you have to significantly cut down time spent on socializing. Bullied kids are mostly the ones who lack experience needed to socialize properly and when the time comes to cement themselves into the school social network they are unable to do so and become underdogs. Because of the nature of brute forcing method of teaching that curriculum provides teens who want to learn need to spend enormous amounts of time studying and as a result they don't gather the experience needed to socialize properly. Socializing can be more important in getting prestige job that the education provided in the schools. Most of the people who invested time in education and became office clerks which marks the complete failure of the system. This time invested in it doesn't just justify itself it actually harms more in the end. People invested in it not only don't get good education but become outcasts as well. This is a deep issue which can't be solved easily. Just cutting down education won't do, because as much as socializing is important, the main goal of schools is education. 

We believe that this issue can be solved by teaching kids that socializing is also an import part of education. For example, in the lower grades organizing social games and actively supporting children who are socially awkward. Once the child breaks the barrier of fear of social interactions he will be able to focus on studying without the fear of being an outcast. This needs to be done at an early age when kids are just starting to cement themselves into social organism of the school after everyone is in their position nothing can be done and it will ruin the life of the child significantly. Another good way will be to organizing camping trips with children to give them time outside of school to socialize with each other, we believe this is the most efficient way to make kids discover each other's personalities and form groups based on their interests. Alternatively to force kids to socialize and learn group projects are one of the most effective ways. This way children get to know each other and work towards achieving a common goal. Working alone is import in developing an individual but gutting down the group projects all together is big fault of the educational system. People are social animals we crave social interactions and our brains understands how important it is for us, that's why socially awkward kids are scared to mess up and stop interacting altogether. Giving kids time to interact is also an important part of the education. Without it comes depression and anxiety which negatively affects the studying process. People who design the curriculum should take into account social interactions because they play a huge role in the future of the child. School shouldn't just give education and release teens into the real world. School is the place where we spent on constructing our individual person and this should be taking into account. School should make productive people for the society and happy people are the most productive state of the human beings. Also forbidding any relationships between students makes them lack the experience needed to find partners and construct a family. Because of the nature of the problem, it cannot be controlled and what results in is hiding and avoiding teachers further separating the line between the student and the teacher.

If you look at the table, you can spot that this high school education is based for people who are dedicated to become people of art. In this case there are a lot of subjects that need to be removed from the educational component. These subjects are Military Preparation, Physical Education, Natural Science, Social Knowledge, Native History. If this happens than students will have more time to work on their ideas and create works of art. The final examinations should be based on subjects that refer to art rather subjects like Mathematics or Native History. These types of students need more free time to think about and develop something new and most of these types of students attend to essential Art based clubs to improve their view and skill in art. Also their schools have to provide them with everything they can such as canvases, painting tools, clay and so on. These students are creative so they have to be a little free, so artistic gift would be for nothing good. These people are almost always introverts and tend to keep things to themselves that’s why most talented people don’t even become known in small city. To fix this problem art craft schools should make environment where these students will feel free and will become more open.

Teacher student relationship

Relationship between students and teachers is a very important part of education. Cementing authority and respect for teachers is very important but if the teacher focuses only on these two what happened is that students are being afraid of the teachers, which greatly affects the effectiveness of the curriculum. This is happening in most of the government schools, the role of the teacher is to make the students listen and although removing all of the distractions and being authoritative is one way and the easiest way to achieve this it brings a lot of problems with it. The respect that those teachers are after is being flipped around and students hating them start giving them nicknames and avoiding them at any cost. Respect cannot be earned through fear, because of what they are doing achieves the goal of forcing students to listen but it fails at making them learn. The authoritative attitude of the teachers only worsens the situation of making students learn and develop into human beings in order to survive in the real world. 

Solution to this problem is more effort from the teachers in order to develop friendly but at the same time respectful relationship between them. Respect is two sided the attitude of the teachers needs to show support to the students who are putting effort into studying and as an effect encouraging them to study more. If teachers show respect to the students and not look down on them, the respect will be given back to them. The reason why teachers are disencourage in putting more effort is because of their salary. They received way too little to justify spending more effort than the minimum amount required. We think they are not to blame because given the same circumstances, we wouldn't be able to be better than them. The world that we built operates on money, it is the ultimate motivation of everyone. When a person is given a minimum salary it is only essential that he puts minimum effort. What needs to be done is increase their salary and put more effort into giving them the proper education needed for teaching students. Increasing the salary of the teachers can be economically justified, because more productive students are released from school in order to work, means more money generated for the government. After the salary is increased teachers should have more motivation, which will lead to better relationships of students and teachers which ultimately will lead to more effective curriculum. 

 

 

Private School Education

 

Now let’s look at a table that displays a private type of education which does not educate with the standards of governmental education. Private schools are more free and less stressful for students and tend to teach more things that would be needed for adult life and skills  that will help teenagers make their first steps of surviving in this world. Looking at the table you can easily spot that private education is a lot different than normal governmental education. They have different types of subjects rather than normal educational subjects. There is a choice based subjects where the student can choose from a variety of subjects to improve and become good at. The physical education is also choice based, which means the students chooses from the verity of sports to play at the class. These choices can be changed every semester. The Military Preparation actually prepares students for military emergencies, because it is taught in military based camps not in classroom. This way students get practical view of the subject and it becomes more efficient. The homework in these type of schools is less stressful and you can hand in any time of the year as long as you have it in the end of the year. Student teacher relationship is better than normal schools, because teachers tend to become friends with students and tend to understand their mentality. But as long as there are advantages, there are also disadvantages. Private schools are not for people who are not dedicated to learning, because private schools are more free and less stressful for students and these lazy one take advantage and tend to actually interrupt students who are actually dedicated to learning. Private schools also have subjects that are not really needed for students of high school such as ecology, economy, native architectural flow, art, philosophy, human right, political science. These subjects do not need to be removed, rather than they need to make to the list of chosen subjects. Also there are teachers who are a little old fashioned and do not like things that teenagers do these years which is not good. In our opinion these types of teachers need to be replaced or they should be taught to keep their opinions to themselves because it causes students to be less confident and that makes them more closed and it will result in a bad effect on a student’s mentality and that causes anxiety, depression and so on. Overall private schools create more confident, interactive, socially prepared, knowledgeable people if of course a student is dedicated to learning. Private schools give interpersonal skills, for example in our Educational complex we learn subjects in groups of people of our age who have chosen the certain subject and this way we interact with a lot of people. That is why in normal governmental schools a 7th grader would not know about an 8th grader, but in our school a lot of people know each other and socialize together. 

 

To summarize every problem concerning school has all to do with nailing the balance between social interactions and education. Every system has problems and nothing is perfect, but we still think that a much better job could have been done if more effort was put into properly thinking about every aspect of the school system. Neglect of social interactions and cramming information is not even close to a good educational system. This makes the curriculum not work properly and ultimately makes the students hate school.

 

Langston Hughes

Langston Hughes was one of the most important writers and thinkers of the Harlem Renaissance, which was the African American artistic movement in the 1920s that celebrated black life and culture. 1. Hardship, expensive, keen, numb, abandon.

I was at a dentist because I needed to fix my teeth. It was rather expensive but I was working very hard to afford it. The doctor had a keen eye and was able to identify the problem and fix it very quickly. My mouth was numb afterwards but it wore off rather quickly. After that i abandoned eating sweets in order to not damage my teeth any further. It was a hardship but I pulled it off.

I was chilling in my inhabitable village, when suddenly I got bored so me and my friend placed a wager, who stays in a graveyard all night wins. I ain't scared of corpses so I agreed. Graveyard had a dark atmosphere which was radiating sinister. It was 5 am when I heard a shriek, it was my friend who ran off, as it turns out it was just some plant that touched his feet. Giving and Taking information

Information is obtained and passed along the newest generation. In this essay I will mainly concentrate on the ways information is given. Most of the people get their information by reading but the trend of getting information by watching or listening to some other deliver it by making a presentation or just giving a speech has been growing rapidly which shifted the most important aspect in passing the information from its content to the way it’s delivered. With the increase in popularity of motivational speakers whom gained their audience not from informative nor helpful speech but rather from manipulation and presenting information that the individual wants to hear rather than needs to hear, it became more and more apparent that this shift in the importance of the way in which information is delivered has grown with the communicative technologies. Individual now has the ability to choose the information he wants to conceive thus he started to pander more to his primitive self rather than intellectual self, let me elaborate. The way we like to receive information comes from evolution, we evolved to perceive the information that was accompanied by specific hand or rather body gestures that used to mean that the provided information was useful, hence we evolved to be more welcoming when we get our information delivered this way. Now we are more focused on the way the information is delivered blindly trusting everything said by charismatic leaders. The problem is that we evolved to manipulate this trait of ourselves, now we have the ability to use our intelligence to learn new more effective ways delivering information and manipulating people which fueled the numbers of motivational speakers. Perhaps if individual took the words said by charismatic person and tried to rationalize what was presented to him he would come to the conclusion that he was being manipulated. The way you present the information is art by itself and I’m not trying to argue that we need to get rid of it, rather I want people to try turning off their excitement and just listen to the words that are being presented to them because most of the time you will come to find that those smart people aren’t smart at all they are just good at deceiving people and that theirs absolutely nothing special about them.    

Short Stories

Hardship, expensive, keen, numb, abandon

 

I was at a dentist because I needed to fix my teeth. It was rather expensive but I was working very hard to afford it. The doctor had a keen eye and was able to identify the problem and fix it very quickly. My mouth was numb afterwards but it wore off rather quickly. After that i abandoned eating sweets in order to not damage my teeth any further. It was a hardship but I pulled it off.

 

Corpse, jealous, shriek, inhabit, sinister

 

I was chilling in my inhabitable village, when suddenly I got bored so me and my friend placed a wager, who stays in a graveyard all night wins. I ain't scared of corpses so I agreed. Graveyard had a dark atmosphere which was radiating sinister. It was 5 am when I heard a shriek, it was my friend who ran off, as it turns out it was just some plant that touched his feet. He was jealous of my bravery and dedication to the bet, overall it was fun night.

504 Words Alias

Lately, we started to work with a book called “504 Essential Words”. It’s about words that are essential to know if you speak English. We started to think about how to make learning these words a bit fun. We came up with an alias game. And so I and my pal Vahe got to work.

There are two teams playing the game, each team is given some time to explain the words given to the other teammates without using any roots or Armenian words. The team who reaches the high score wins.

 

So we made it. Vahe did the design and I did the programming. We worked as a team and accomplished the task in no time. But we have to share the app. Currently, only we have it on our smartphones. The best and the most secure way to share it is to upload the game to Google Play Store, from where everyone can download it. The only step left to do, is to upload the game installer on Google Play Store with one time fee of 25$.

My holiday

Hi mike I would like to tell you about my holiday in Paris.

As I said I went to the holiday in Paris! Can you imagine that? That was the best holiday of my life. I went there week ago in airplane because I hate trains or buses. I can’t even imagine like going with train or bus like 10 days that would be boring. So I went with airplane and it take like 5 hours isn’t that cool? In Paris I stayed in hotel. I’ve got amazing room. After renting room I went to see city and I won’t say anything bad about it. You should go there as well. That was all I wanted to tell you.

Hi mark I need to tell you something.

 

 

Do you remember Jessica? He is going marry! The wedding day is going to be in the next week.  That is going to be amazing! And we are invited! The wedding is going to be in Paris. After weeding in church we will go to the best party ever! Jessica says that there will be like 100 people! Also we will see Paris for the first time. After party we will went to drink some beer. After that we will stay at hotel and next day we will go home. Hope you will come.

Types of communication

I heard about type of communication where people are making their own language and talking with each other in that way so no one could understand them. Another way of communication is internet. Internet is the most famous type of communication in the world. There are tons of social sites where you can communicate with people all over the world, Example Facebook. I personally use internet and phone to communicate with my friends. I use phone to communicate with friends that are living in Armenia and I use internet to communicate with friends that are living in another country.

Ways of Communications in future.

In my opinion in future everyone will communicate with phones. But they would be free. Humanity will go to the next level and they will create new sim card that are absolutely free. Another way can be with power of mind. Humanity will learn how to talk to person whenever he is with power of mind.  Another version can be with little things in brain that will allow everyone to communicate with thoughts. They will just think to call someone and that small thing in brain will call that person.  Also those little things in brain will allow us to see person that we are calling to.

The Life Bet

“Hey what was that? Are you okay? We still have some time left maybe if we can survive another minute the clock will be proven to be wrong, are you listening to me, we can’t stop here we made it so far” Said Mike, but he wasn’t able to finish his sentence as he got shot in the head by George who then proceeded to kill himself, leaving this planet as the last person who will ever exist in this world. How did this happen? What caused this?

On December 2012 a clock as big as big ben fell from the sky and landed in Italy. Nobody knew where it came from, but on the clock there was written “When this clock turns zero the last human will die”. And so the countdown began. The world was in permanent shock, “What is this, a message from god, what did we do to deserve this? Can we stop this?”. They had 20 years to do something with this, but there was too much pressure. First, humanity thought that maybe if they themselves changed something will change, so they started to help ones in need, stopped lying and did everything that was considered to be right. But nothing had changed. As the time was going pressure was building, and when only 1 year was left everyone started accepting their death and started doing what they couldn’t do before. They started stealing, killing and doing whatever they wanted because they were going to die anyways so who cares. But some people didn’t accept their fate and fought as hard as they could, two of them were George and Mike. But this groups couldn’t hide forever they were killed eventually, only two survived. One hour left, they were the only two to be left on this planet. Seemed that nothing could’ve caused them to die, but George suddenly fell unconscious and when he woke up he killed Mike and Himself. So what did he saw that made him do this you may ask. In sleep he saw a four dimensional creature, more accurately a fragment of him, he told him all of this was just a bet, a simple bet of who could kill humanity the easiest way possible, he said that earth was created for this own reason, for entertainment, and added that the clock meant nothing, it’s the people who killed each other, if everyone lived their life as they were before nothing would’ve happened. George couldn’t take this so he did what he thought was the right thing to do at the time. Ended everything. 

Current educational system

 

I've heard countless people saying that current educational system isn't doing what it's supposed to do, but I haven't heard any person suggest a way to make it better, so I decided to write my own interpretation of good educational system. I still haven't made my mind completely but I have some ideas of what needs to be changed. First of all, I would like to start pointing out what's wrong with the current system, then I'll proceed to introduce some changes that can be made. What's wrong with Current educational system? The main thing that bothers me about current educational system is that it's not teaching the subjects, it's just feeding information that's instantly forgotten after passing exams. Let’s take math as an example, we are being told the equations but not the explanations behind them, and I think it's the explanation that gives us ability to think more critically not the equation; equation is just the outcome which is nothing by itself. We aren't being told to think for ourselves, they aren't teaching us to form our opinions, instead we are being fed the opinions that the teachers have, this eliminates critical thinking, which is essential in human being. What to change? First of all we need to start with the salary, it's way to low, the teachers simply can't be happy with their job with so little salary, which is one of the main problem behind our educational system. After increase in salaries, we need to encourage students to have their own opinion; I think that philosophy will help with this. Teaching about the philosophies that we based our society on will help students to think more critically and will encourage students to find their own truth. I believe this would be enough to form a good educational system that will prepare students for future. This was my own opinion of how we should change the current system. It can be wrong or it can be correct, I would suggest making up your own mind on this issue, after all educational system is one of the most important things in forming good health society.

 

What would I do if I won in a lottery?

Well firstly I would’ve thought about future, putted some money in a bank for institute. What I certainly would’ve not done is spent it all right away. Maybe some part of it but not more than one tenth. Also I would’ve considered donating some into the charity, mostly for homeless or abandoned kids. Spending all the money right away is a that can ruin life’s, as it proved to do. I would suggest to invest some money into growing companies or stock market that could really pay off if you know how to. At the end I would like to say that money can’t buy happiness and it’s not necessary to change whole life style because of them, just think wisely before doing something significant.

 

Dream job

At this point in my life I don’t consider to have a dream job. I always wanted to be a programmer but for right now I’m not sure if I want it to be my main job, it becomes kind a boring after a while. I mean it’s a very well paid job but sitting in front of computer all day long will eventually wore off. I want to work as programmer while I’ll be in college but after that I’m thinking of writing a book or something. I want to do something that fells fresh every day like art. Well that if everything goes according to my will but as we all now life isn’t someone specifically friendly and preparing for the worst is always better.

 

Travel

 

I’m personally not someone who likes traveling if there’s an option to visit country abroad I’m all for it. Traveling can be interesting, you can learn new languages through speaking with foreigners and learn their culture also there is neat little bonus in a form of food which is always welcomed. This summer I’m taking a trip to Italy as a volunteer and I will meet some new people from across the world. I hope it will go smooth and I won’t regret it. To sum up I always up for traveling to other countries but if it’s not ridiculously overpriced.      

Telling lies. The cause and effect

First of all I would like to mention that telling lie is not always a bad thing. In my opinion world wouldn't be better without lies. Lie is a part our life just like truth, we just need to balance them. Everybody lies and if someone tells he is not lying, know that he lies. There is two types of lies, good lie and bad lie. Good lie is a type of lie in which nobody is harmed and bad lie is the opposite. I lie a lot, but mostly my lies are effecting me and no one else, for example, I lied that I did my homework, in this case no one but me is harmed. There is a lot of things that can cause a lie, but mostly people are lying to get the most profit from the occurred situation. Some people lie without thinking that lie can harm others and others firstly think about others then lie so that no one will get hurt, but everyone lies. Sometimes people lie in a situation that lying wasn't necessary or the smartest thing to do. For example people hide some information from doctors to escape embarrassment, but in fact they are risking their life's. But there is some situations that lying is an essential thing to do, for example this can be done in order to make someone else feel better without any consequences. After all I think that lie is good thing in right hands and a weapon in the bad hands.

 

My summer holidays

This is going to be my hardest summer for now. In this summer I should pass exams to finish 9-th grade. I'm also planning to go to polytechnic college. I have some problems with Armenian language and history, but I think I should be able to pass them. Of course I have to work harder to pass them, and that is a proble wem for me. I'm not a big lover of working hard, I would rather read book, surf the In asternet or play games than do the homework. But in this summer I will work hard to archive my goal.

My day

 

My day is starting in 7:30am. I'm waking up drinking some coffee, brushing teeth and etc. Then with my sister, I'm going to the bus stop and going to school. In the school I'm meeting my friends and we're have a great time in school. In 12:40pm I'm having my breakfast in school. After 13 - 15pm I'm going home. In the home I'm having my lunch and resting a little bit. In mondeys, thursdays or  saturdays I have math classes from 17pm to 19pm. After that whe are having an family dinner. In tuesdays or saturdays I have English classes from 18:30 to 20:30. After that I'm having family dinner as always and going to sleep to do everything over again.
